The First Mello Joy Café was opened in the heart of Lafayette at 625 Jefferson Street in December of 2002. Mello Joy Café’s “not just a coffee shop” has two locations in the Mall of Acadiana and another at 3809 Ambassador Caffery Parkway. Besides serving the Begnaud families recipe for rich Dark, Between, Medium and Decaffeinated Premium Coffee, Mello Joy Café’s offer Gourmet Coffee, Espresso Coffee and Smoothie Drinks. Mello Joy Café’s also offer fresh baked pastries, muffins, cookies along with Borden’s Ice Cream. World Famous Lea’s Pies are also available at Mello Joy Café’s by the slice or order a whole pie.
